Who Are Exeter Pirates?

Exeter Pirates is a community group of local pirate enthusiasts who raise funds in aid of Exmouth and Teignmouth RNLI lifeboat stations. Carved by the Coastline, Guided by the RNLI

Even in the fiercest weather, a true pirate keeps their eyes on the horizon. Every year, every event hammers out another piece of who we are - bold, sea‑scarred, and stubborn as the tide. The wind roars, the waves rise, and still our crew stands fast.
These are the moments that shape the Exeter Pirates: grit in the storm, pride in the struggle, and stories etched into the coastline. And through it all, our compass never wavers - we sail for a purpose, raising money in aid of the RNLI and the lifeboat crews of Exmouth and Teignmouth, the real heroes who face the sea so others make it home.

RNLI Fundraising
Every gathering we host helps raise funds in aid of the Exmouth and Teignmouth RNLI lifeboat stations, backing the brave crews who stand ready to launch at a moment’s notice.
