Set sail for something sweet, Exeter. The Exeter Pirates are teaming up with our friends at Little Drop of Poison to commandeer a cosy corner of Fore Street for a brand‑new community fundraiser: The Great Pirate Bake & Brew Morning — a Coffee, Keg & Cake Morning with the bar open and the kettle on.

We’re raising vital funds for the RNLI, helping to power the brave lifesavers who launch to the rescue along our coast. As long‑time supporters of the crews at Exmouth and Teignmouth, we know just how much every penny matters. These volunteers head out in all weathers, day or night, to keep people safe at sea — and we want to give them everything they need to continue their incredible work.

What’s Happening?

We’re turning Little Drop of Poison into a pirate‑friendly haven of caffeine, cake, and camaraderie.

Expect:

- Freshly brewed coffee

- Homemade cakes and sweet treats

- The bar open for anyone who fancies a cheeky morning tipple

- Pirates on hand for a chat, a laugh, and a hearty thank‑you

Every slice bought and every drink poured helps the lifeboats. It’s that simple.

Where Your Money Goes

We have a fundraising page here, which is our official fundraising page for this event, and all proceeds from coffee and cake sales will be donated directly to the RNLI.

Your support helps fund essential equipment, training, and resources for the crews who keep our shores safe.

Why We Do It

Exeter Pirates have always believed in giving back to the community — and the RNLI is at the heart of that mission. Their lifesavers protect locals, visitors, sailors, swimmers, paddleboarders, and yes… even the occasional pirate who gets into trouble.

Come along, grab a brew, enjoy a slice, and help us support the lifesavers who never hesitate to answer the call. We can’t wait to see you there.
